Help Please

Trying to reinstall Magic Mirror, got the following error whe tried to run
We're ready! Run DISPLAY=:0 npm start from the ~/MagicMirror directory to start your MagicMirror.

spudz@raspberrypi:~ $ cd MagicMirror
spudz@raspberrypi:~/MagicMirror $ DISPLAY=:0 npm start

magicmirror@2.34.0 start
node --run start:x11

node: bad option: --run

What did I do wrong now, and more importantly how do I fix it?

Can you post the ~/install.log
This is install, right not upgrade from prior release

This is the wrong version of node causing this

ran the query twice to be sure the fingers did not "help"...
I did shut it all down last night after sending the issue.

you did -/install.log

I asked for ~/install.log
notice the leading char is curved, called tilde,
not a dash

~ means same as user home folder

you don't try to execute it, its a file to attach to an email

One more question, if I may, What is a good keyboard sequence to quit magic mirror when it is running?

Ctrl-q should close the MagicMirror window
EXCEPT
If MagicMirror is started by pm2, its job is to keep the app running

Do then you have to open a terminal window
Ctrl-m to minimize MagicMirror
Ctrl-alt-t to open a terminal window
pm2 status
And then pm2 stop xxxx
Where xxxx is the name or number of the row of the app you want to stop

pm2 start xxxx
To start it again

pm2 restart, or stop all are other choices
On Linux by convention all the command line app return help in response to the —help parm

pm2 —help
Will describe all it can do
