On some browsers, Space Giraffe doesn't draw "star" sprite

Expected Behavior

All of the sprites that are supposed to appear do in Space Giraffe: https://llk.github.io/scratch-gui/develop/#247578672

Actual Behavior

If you load the project on Edge on Windows or on Safarin on iPad (it works fine on Mac Safari) the stars won't appear. Often the "neck" sprite doesn't appear either.

Sometimes after it's been run a few times the stars will appear. I haven't figured out repro steps for that part.

Steps to Reproduce

Load the project on one of the mentioned platforms.
Click the green flag.
Note: stars never start appearing on the stage.

Can’t repro on iPad Pro Chrome

I tried this sequence four times and each time at least one of three project had a sprite with a costume that did not show on the stage.

On my IPad Pro, iOS 12.0.1 and using Safari,
Clear the safari history and website data,
Start Safari and access these three URL’s

For the Nutcracker and Loop benchmark projects, the costumes looked okay in the paint editor.

All missing costumes in all projects would show up if I nudged the costume slightly in the paint editor or just tapped the flip icon.

From the user:

1. Every level is supposed to have the level's name. The levels in 3.0 do not.
2. Every time a color first appears in the game, it's supposed to show a box with text saying “you have found the color
   ...

I had no problems with the project under Windows 10, Firefox but saw the problem under MacOS Macintosh X 10.11.6, Safari 11.1.2, Flash 31.0 (release 0). Reloading the project allowed the missing lettering to then appear.

and -FrostyIcePrincess- states her OS/Browser as MacOS Macintosh X 10.10.5, Safari 11
