File/Edit menu does not close after selecting an option

Expected Behavior

When you open the file menu, after selecting an option such as "save" or "download", I expect the menu to close.

Actual Behavior

The menu stays open.

Selecting turbo mode in Edit menu should also close the Edit menu.

Is it related to the "Locale Setting" dropdown? (It used to auto-close, but after discovering a strange bug on Firefox, it got revered) #3626
