abapGit is not supported in project

Hi Team

Whey trying to add new repositories to the Eclipse abapGit addon I get the message "abapGit is not supported in project". Also all the buttons are inactive.

Are you experiencing the same issue?

I already installed abapGit on this system.

System details:

for ABAP Platform on premises you need to install the community version of an ABAP Git client: https://help.sap.com/docs/btp/sap-business-technology-platform/install-and-set-up-abapgit
