XML format of save files

😔 The current version of the program uses binary save files that are quite confusing. There are two types of these files, and they are not compatible between different versions. Often, old saves cannot be loaded when an update is released. Index files contain the full paths of register map files, making them non-portable. It is not possible to edit files outside of the program, for example, to merge register maps. Etc.

💡 There is a proposal to change the file format to text-based, which would conveniently store in Git and allow forward and backward compatibility between versions. XML is a good candidate for this role.
