We encourage members of a security team, developers, researchers or related security professionals to submit feedback on the accuracy and context of Open Cryptography findings.
Please open an issue to:
- Dispute a false positive: Provide technical context on why a finding is not a risk for a specific use case.
- Correct a data inaccuracy: Report incorrect version numbers, severity scores, or other metadata.
- Ask a question about our findings: Ask for clarification on a specific finding.
To ensure a timely response, all submissions must include the full artifact name, version, and the specific finding in question.
If you are an open-source author, project contributor, or other project maintainer, we welcome your expert context on the artifact(s) you manage. We prioritize this feedback to ensure our analysis is fair and accurate.
Please open an issue to:
- Dispute a finding: Provide technical evidence if you believe a finding is incorrect.
- Confirm a resolution: Inform us if you have resolved a finding in a new version so we can rescan the artifact.
- Improve remediation advice: Suggest remediation instructions for your specific project.
When submitting, please identify the project you maintain so our team can expedite the review.
