Thanks @messense, just an idea, is there anyway to keep this list in one place and reuse it in multiple projects? I know there's a difference for projects that use abi3, but some way to set (e.g. in maturin) "all common setups" would be great.

IMO it's hard to have a reusable configuration for everyone, some projects may not be able to build for certain cpu architectures or python implementations.
