Hi, I'm Sadaf Raoufi! 


💻  I am currently a PhD student in Bioinformatics and working as a research assistant at Hurwitz lab at NCSU.
	As a master's student in Computer Science, I worked as a Research Assistant in the  Wheelerlab Computational Biology Research Group.

	
📚 I have a strong interest in Bioinformatics, Genomic Analysis, and Machine Learning. My project over the time of my master's program in computer science focused on the genetic variations in immune-related genes, particularly 
the human leukocyte antigen (HLA) locus, and their link to various health outcomes like adverse drug reactions, 
cancer, and cardiovascular diseases. 
	
📝 I am currently learning more about viromics and microbiome research.
