Syntastic: Merge error messages into a single line using hooks

I'd like to know if it is possible to get the multiline error messages, vim likes one line errors, but rustc seems to prefer multi line errors. I don't mind if all the errors get joined together and it becomes "hard to read", I have a lot of horizontal space :)
