Ther's probably not much we can do about it, but just for discoverability and people googling it. I am quite often hitting this spurious error, and it looks like underlying issue is hyper not handling timeouts on pooled connection well.

It's quite distinct from normal issues. Retrying etc. should help.

Closing, as there's not much to do about it right now, and in the future jsonrpc is going to be generic over underlying http client.
