Can't run with Rust

Just clone this repo: https://github.com/stevefan1999-personal/crinkler-test, install Rust with rustup Crinkler with choco install crinkler and then run cargo run. It can compile, but it will get access violation on running.

I know the alternative is always to use no-std, so another branch that uses no_std works: https://github.com/stevefan1999-personal/crinkler-test/tree/no-std

I suspect if I compile this on Windows 7 it should work out of the box. Just not on Windows 10 or Windows 11.
