Python 2.7 was fully depreciated in 2020. It would be really nice to have weakmon work with Python 3. :-)

I am only using the encoding functions of weakmon. I used 2to3 to convert ft8.py and ft4.py and it seemed to just work. I can only check the encoding functions and errors that Python would throw, but it might be really pretty simple to move this project to Python 3. I ended up just stripping the receive functionality out because I didn't want to maintain this project in addition to my own.
