Feature Request: number_sections to work for markdown_document2 appendix

Thanks very much for the new feature introduced in #938.

Although the new lua filter has enabled the auto-section-numbering within regular chapters, currently appendix-style number_sections are not supported.

I am hoping that we can also support this in the near future.
