Prepare to release a "2.0.0" of rspec-its, its still considered a legacy extension extracted from the main gems, but this version drops support for outdated Ruby, and outdated RSpec.
Going forward the only supported version of RSpec will be the latest ones, and modern Ruby syntax can be used.
