Feature Request: Treat parenthesis the same way as numbers for asterisk contextual alternative #863
Description
The second and fourth asterisks here aren't using their alternative variants.
It seems safe to assume that a parenthesis before or after an asterisk is likely due to an arithmetic expression. Would it make more sense to treat the parenthesis the same way numbers are treated when contextual alternative of the asterisk is being decided?
