Trailing spaces appear like being removed, yet are committed

When in the staging view, trailing spaces are being marked in red. I would expect to be able to discard this whitespace directly through GitX, either by doing it automatically, or showing some kind of delete button/contextual action. The current way of marking whitespace in red, but not being able to do anything with it, is confusing to me. A quick fix would be to use a different color for these warnings, e.g. yellow-orange.
