Problem with synchronizing the selected input device

I gave 3.0.0 a try yesterday on my Mac Mini m4 running Tahoe 26.0.1

Everything seems ok, but even when muting the mic, the indicator shows "muted" but the other person can hear me still...

Good thing I tested it, could have been embarrassing 🙂

What was your input device?

MacBook Air M1, macOS 26.0.1

@luckman212 And do you select the input device via Sound, Micmute or ControlCenter?

I tried all 3, it didn't make a difference (but typically I use option+click menubar to select input device). As a test, I tried it with another device on my system (Logitech Webcam C925e) and it DID work. Strange...

I will have to test this myself on other devices. For now, I am leaving this issue open in case anyone else has a similar problem and to gather more information. I apologize that the product isn't working 100% correctly.

@luckman212 I think I've found the problem. The application does not always detect a change in the active input device using other methods (menubar, sound settings, etc.).

I'll fix this issue ASAP

Ok thanks I do appreciate the help! Anything I can do to help test/debug just let me know. FYI I am not changing output or input devices before or during when I launch Micmute. I always use the RODE NT-USB.

@luckman212 Fixed, the correction will appear in the latest update (in a few days), because I am changing the settings and application interface and I still have to make the final corrections 🫡
