$sane_* variables get values from a different scope when their corresponding variable is undef. This happens for wtmp and btmp config files, causing the config to use values from the first evaluated rule that is declared somewhere else. Puppet version - 3.8.2.

Yes, the behaviour is the same as I saw on my environment. |
