Rod asked to release the stage branch as captured, not develop. #2405 merged all of develop onto stage, including 34 commits that were never deployed to staging or tested. This undoes that.

  • Reverts release: v3.4.0 — develop → stage #2405 (e9c7d8c01). The resulting tree is exactly d3b6eea8, the captured and tested stage.
  • Applies only the version bump and changelog cut, because publishing is impossible without them: every current version and tag is already taken.

#2405 merged all of develop onto stage, including 34 commits that were
never deployed to staging or tested. The release is meant to ship the stage
that was captured and tested (d3b6eea), not develop.

This reverts e9c7d8c (#2405), which restores stage's tree exactly to
d3b6eea, and applies only what publishing mechanically requires. The
published versions and tags already exist at the old numbers:

  rocketride-server   3.3.0 -> 3.4.0
  vscode              1.2.0 -> 1.4.0
  client-typescript   1.3.0 -> 1.4.0
  client-python       1.3.0 -> 1.4.0
  client-mcp          1.5.0 (unchanged, unpublished)
  CHANGELOG           [Unreleased] cut to [3.4.0]

Diff against d3b6eea: those five files and nothing else. No code.

merge main into the v3.4.0 release, keeping the captured stage tree

main holds nothing the captured stage (d3b6eea) lacks: release.yaml is
identical, _release.yaml differs only in the actions/checkout pin, and both
the 3.2.2 deepagent hotfix and the 3.3.1 shell-ui OAuth hotfix are present in
the captured stage. The tree is the #2409 head exactly.
