Capture include and require statements

The parser should capture Include/Require/require once statements and make them available to applications.

Parser should also handle the constants DIR in the include / require statement.

Hi Roberto,
what about making the parser return variable (like in include $filename;) instead of empty string.
That way the programmer will decide what to do with the variable. And may be adding boolean field to say whether it is string where in this case it will return false.

Or having another method handling this altogether (I think this is the best) and let user decide whether to ignore that or handle it.

This can certainly be done, but then there are other cases:

require MY_CONST . $file;
require myBaseDir() . $file;
require myBaseDir(). 'sub/dir/' . $file;

The new method will be added, would get handed a data structure that contains an 'expression'. Users would then need to iterate through that structure and pick out the stuff they are interested in handling.
