Amazon Chime is a communications service that transforms online meetings with an application that is secure and comprehensive. Amazon Chime works across your devices so that you can stay connected. You can use Amazon Chime for online meetings, video conferencing, calls, and chat. You can also share content inside and outside of your organization. Amazon Chime is a fully managed service that runs securely on the AWS cloud, which frees IT from deploying and managing complex infrastructures. For more details, refer to the [AWS documentation](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/chime/latest/ag/what-is-chime.html).

## Log and Metric types
* [CloudWatch Metrics](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/chime/latest/ag/monitoring-cloudwatch.html)
* [CloudWatch Logs](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/chime/latest/ag/monitoring-cloudwatch.html#cw-logs)
* [CloudTrail Logs](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/chime/latest/ag/cloudtrail.html)

## Setup
You can collect the logs and metrics for Sumo Logic's Amazon Chime integration by following the below steps.

### Configure metrics collection
* Collect **CloudWatch Metrics** with namespace `AWS/ChimeVoiceConnector` using the [AWS Kinesis Firehose for Metrics](/docs/send-data/hosted-collectors/amazon-aws/aws-kinesis-firehose-metrics-source/) source. For `AWS/ChimeVoiceConnector` metrics and dimensions, refer to [Amazon Chime CloudWatch metrics](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/chime/latest/ag/monitoring-cloudwatch.html).
### Configure logs collection
* Collect [Amazon CloudWatch Logs](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/chime/latest/ag/monitoring-cloudwatch.html#cw-logs) using [AWS Kinesis Firehose for Logs](/docs/send-data/hosted-collectors/amazon-aws/aws-kinesis-firehose-logs-source/) source. You can opt to receive media quality metric logs for your Amazon Chime Voice Connector. When you do, Amazon Chime sends detailed, per-minute metrics for all of your Amazon Chime Voice Connector calls to a CloudWatch Logs log group that is created for you. The log group name is `/aws/ChimeVoiceConnectorLogs/${VoiceConnectorID}`.

* Collect [Amazon CloudWatch Logs](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/chime/latest/ag/monitoring-cloudwatch.html#cw-logs) using [AWS Kinesis Firehose for Logs](/docs/send-data/hosted-collectors/amazon-aws/aws-kinesis-firehose-logs-source/) source. You can opt to receive SIP message logs for your Amazon Chime Voice Connector. When you do, Amazon Chime captures inbound and outbound SIP messages and sends them to a CloudWatch Logs log group that is created for you. The log group name is `/aws/ChimeVoiceConnectorSipMessages/${VoiceConnectorID}`.

* Collect [AWS CloudTrail Logs](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/chime/latest/ag/cloudtrail.html) using [AWS CloudTrail](/docs/send-data/hosted-collectors/amazon-aws/aws-cloudtrail-source/) source. Amazon Chime is integrated with AWS CloudTrail, a service that provides a record of actions taken by a user, role, or AWS service in Amazon Chime. CloudTrail captures all API calls for Amazon Chime as events, which includes calls from the Amazon Chime console and from code calls to the Amazon Chime APIs. If you create a trail, you can enable continuous delivery of CloudTrail events to an Amazon S3 bucket, including events for Amazon Chime. Using the information collected by CloudTrail, you can determine the request that was made to Amazon Chime, the IP address from which the request was made, who made the request, when it was made, and additional details.

The Amazon Chime SDK is a set of real-time communications components that you can use to quickly add messaging, audio, video, and screen sharing capabilities to their web or mobile applications. You can use the Amazon Chime SDK to build real-time media applications that can send and receive audio and video and allow content sharing. For more details, refer to the [AWS documentation](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/chime-sdk/latest/dg/what-is-chime-sdk.html).

* [CloudTrail Logs](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/chime-sdk/latest/dg/pipeline-cloudtrail.html)

## Setup
You can collect the logs and metrics for Sumo Logic's Amazon Chime SDK integration by following the below steps.

### Configure metrics collection
* Collect **CloudWatch Metrics** with namespace `AWS/ChimeSDK` using the [AWS Kinesis Firehose for Metrics](/docs/send-data/hosted-collectors/amazon-aws/aws-kinesis-firehose-metrics-source/) source. For `AWS/ChimeSDK` metrics and dimensions, refer to [Amazon Chime SDK CloudWatch metrics](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/chime-sdk/latest/dg/service-metrics.html).
### Configure logs collection
* Collect [AWS CloudTrail Logs](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/chime-sdk/latest/dg/pipeline-cloudtrail.html) using [AWS CloudTrail](/docs/send-data/hosted-collectors/amazon-aws/aws-cloudtrail-source/) source. When a user calls a supported API in the media pipeline SDK, CloudTrail logs that activity for that API in Event history, along with other AWS events. For an ongoing record of media pipeline events, you can create a trail. The event data includes the user that called the API, the IAM role used to call the API, the source IP address from which the calls were made, and when the calls occurred.

Amazon Cognito is an identity platform for web and mobile apps. It’s a user directory, an authentication server, and an authorization service for OAuth 2.0 access tokens and AWS credentials. With Amazon Cognito, you can authenticate and authorize users from the built-in user directory, from your enterprise directory, and from consumer identity providers like Google and Facebook. For more details, refer to the [AWS documentation](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cognito/latest/developerguide/what-is-amazon-cognito.html).

## Log and Metric types
* [CloudWatch Metrics](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cognito/latest/developerguide/metrics-for-cognito-user-pools.html)
* [CloudWatch Logs](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cognito/latest/developerguide/tracking-quotas-and-usage-in-cloud-watch-logs.html)
* [CloudTrail Logs](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cognito/latest/developerguide/logging-using-cloudtrail.html)

## Setup
You can collect the logs and metrics for Sumo Logic's Amazon Cognito integration by following the below steps.

### Configure metrics collection
* Collect **CloudWatch Metrics** with namespace `AWS/Cognito` using the [AWS Kinesis Firehose for Metrics](/docs/send-data/hosted-collectors/amazon-aws/aws-kinesis-firehose-metrics-source/) source. For `AWS/Cognito` metrics and [dimensions](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cognito/latest/developerguide/dimensions-for-cognito-user-pools.html), refer to [Amazon Cognito CloudWatch metrics](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cognito/latest/developerguide/metrics-for-cognito-user-pools.html).
### Configure logs collection
* Collect [Amazon CloudWatch Logs](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cognito/latest/developerguide/tracking-quotas-and-usage-in-cloud-watch-logs.html) using [AWS Kinesis Firehose for Logs](/docs/send-data/hosted-collectors/amazon-aws/aws-kinesis-firehose-logs-source/) source. You can configure your user pool to send detailed logs of some additional activity to a CloudWatch log group. These logs are of a finer granularity than those in AWS CloudTrail, and can be useful to troubleshoot your user pool. When you activate this feature, you can choose the log group where you want Amazon Cognito to send logs. User activity logging is useful when you want to find out the status of email and SMS messages that your user pool delivered with Amazon SNS and Amazon SES. Currently, you can only deliver error-level user notification logs from your user pool.

* Collect [AWS CloudTrail Logs](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cognito/latest/developerguide/logging-using-cloudtrail.html) using [AWS CloudTrail](/docs/send-data/hosted-collectors/amazon-aws/aws-cloudtrail-source/) source. Amazon Cognito is integrated with AWS CloudTrail, a service that provides a record of actions taken by a user, role, or AWS service in Amazon Cognito. CloudTrail captures a subset of API calls for Amazon Cognito as events, including calls from the Amazon Cognito console and from code calls to the Amazon Cognito API operations. If you create a trail, you can choose to deliver CloudTrail events to an Amazon S3 bucket, including events for Amazon Cognito. Using the information collected by CloudTrail, you can determine the request that was made to Amazon Cognito, the IP address from which the request was made, who made the request, when it was made, and additional details.

Amazon Connect is an omnichannel cloud contact center. You can set up a contact center in a few steps, add agents who are located anywhere, and start engaging with your customers.

You can create personalized experiences for your customers using omnichannel communications. For example, you can dynamically offer chat and voice contact, based on such factors as customer preference and estimated wait times. Agents, meanwhile, conveniently handle all customers from just one interface. For example, they can chat with customers, and create or respond to tasks as they are routed to them.

Amazon Connect is an open platform that you can integrate with other enterprise applications, such as Salesforce. You can use Amazon Connect with other AWS services to provide innovative new experiences for your customers.

For more details, refer to the [AWS documentation](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/connect/latest/adminguide/what-is-amazon-connect.html).

## Log and Metric types
* [CloudWatch Metrics](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/connect/latest/adminguide/monitoring-cloudwatch.html)
* [CloudTrail Logs](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/connect/latest/adminguide/logging-using-cloudtrail.html)

## Setup
You can collect the logs and metrics for Sumo Logic's Amazon Connect integration by following the below steps.

### Configure metrics collection
* Collect **CloudWatch Metrics** with namespace `AWS/Connect` using the [AWS Kinesis Firehose for Metrics](/docs/send-data/hosted-collectors/amazon-aws/aws-kinesis-firehose-metrics-source/) source. For `AWS/Connect` metrics and dimensions, refer to [Amazon Connect CloudWatch metrics](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/connect/latest/adminguide/monitoring-cloudwatch.html).
### Configure logs collection
* Collect [AWS CloudTrail Logs](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/connect/latest/adminguide/logging-using-cloudtrail.html) using [AWS CloudTrail](/docs/send-data/hosted-collectors/amazon-aws/aws-cloudtrail-source/) source. Amazon Connect is integrated with AWS CloudTrail, a service that provides a record of the Amazon Connect API calls that a user, role, or AWS service makes. CloudTrail captures Amazon Connect API calls as events. All public Amazon Connect APIs support CloudTrail. Using the information that CloudTrail collects, you can identify a specific request to an Amazon Connect API, the IP address of the requester, the requester's identity, the date and time of the request, and so on. If you configure a trail, you can enable continuous delivery of CloudTrail events to an Amazon S3 bucket.
