I got lucky here and found all the connections required: 3.3v, Ground, Serial Midi

Best part is that the keytar can be restored to original (save the speaker holes). MIDI out still works fine. Keyboard now produces sound. Its a simple triangle wave with a ASDR envelope at the moment. Will need to play around more with FM synthesis to produce a better sound.
