Description

note: This is an issue that should not be closed. The purpose of the issue ladder is to provide a set of activities that bring new developers up to speed on the codebase and collaborating with current developers.

Why

As time goes on, people lose insight into what is strange and difficult to understand and newer people need to sort through the same confusion. People who are new to projects are in an excellent position to give feedback on the documents and other system artifacts.

Further, people who are new to projects don't necessarily know about the review and collaboration standards of the community and it is beneficial to work through those details before spending too much time developing a new feature.

What

When starting up a development environment for the AIID, you will need to read the README. Please make edits to the README to clarify things that are confusing and open a pull request. Note

  • pull requests should be made against the staging branch
  • the edit could be brain dead simple so as to check off this box and move on, or more extensive in nature
