System locale

Assumptions

• For the purpose of this document, we're assuming ChurchCRM is being configured to use Spanish translation/locale (ie, es_ES). Sustitute the correct locale for your desired translation etc.
• You have command-line access and root (or sudo) privileges on the host

Procedure

1. Ensure System has correct locals:

   sudo locale-gen es_ES

   • Remember to substitute es_ES with YOUR required locale!

   • The hosting system must have the correct locale as gettext depends on system libs for localization

     • see HowTo : Change Locale (Language and Character Set) in Linux

2. Click the "Admin" left-nav menu, and choose "Edit General Settings"

3. Select Settings tab

4. Click System Settings

5. Select Localization tab

6. Change sLanguage to one of the available languages in the drop down.
