Visual alert or native notification when it's time to rotate

I would love the application to be able to send notifications. This would allow me to use it without sound on.

I am using macOS currently for development, of course in an ideal case this feature would be available for all OS

Interesting I was asking because this feature was already implemented for macOS and Linux. With the notify command in the default config. I am using macOS myself and was not sure if I got notifications the last time I used mob.sh but this seems to confirm that the way you can send notifications via terminal has changed. I will have a look at it. Could you please tell me which macOS Version you use?

Hi @13hannes11, could you please try mob timer 1 and tell me what happens after a minute of waiting? I just checked it and i do get the sound and a notification. If this does not work for you could you please do a mob config and paste the output here?

I just double checked I can see a notification in the notification center but it never visually alerts. I get the sound. I am using MacOS Version 26.2 (25C56)

Than have a look at your notification settings. This notification is triggered by Apple Script maybe Apple Script ist not allowed to alert directly. Zum testen kannst du folgendes Command verwenden /usr/bin/osascript -e 'display notification "Your notification text"'
