Setting up Variable without JQL

Question

Hi Team,
I'm new to Issue Formula Plugin. I would like to set the variable hardcoded (example: testingEffort = 84.8) ,so that i can use the variable value in the Math formula section to simple call the variable value for calculation.

Presently its not allowing me to do so. Could you please help me find the better solution.

Hi @Kamal2m, unfortunately this plugin does not have the ability to set a hardcoded variable. My recommendation is to remove testingeffort = as that syntax is invalid in the formula.

Hi Mark, Thanks for your response. The JQL is just a dummy. I don’t want any counts from the JQL result for the variable. Take a look at the wiki as it has an example of how to use the variable. If you don't want the count from the JQL result, then my recommendation is to not use variables at all.
