Original issue was reported for version 0.76.7.
I'd like to be able to enable new architecture without needing to update RN to 0.78.

Is the issue happening also on 0.77 and 0.78?
Asking as we want to avoid a situation where:

• 0.76 (fixed due to this pick)
• 0.77 regressing
• 0.78 fixed due to fix being in main already

So we need to understand which release need this fix backported to

yes.
First I got it on 0.76.7 and then I bumped RN to the version 0.78, but the crash was still reproducible.
