Downgrading the version fixed it, add this into package.json.

@hamilton-mike try to delete your node_modules folder, While you still have the code above inside package.json, then reinstall your packages with
npm install.@ShernanJ still no bueno. getting the same error.

What is weird : I can runnpm run startwithout problem (at least, all is not lost), butnpm run buildjust fails.
And yes, I've used the fixnpm i -D --save-exact mini-css-extract-plugin@2.4.5but the issue still remains and I've tried clearing the cache, reinstalling npm and so on.Resolutions only works if using yarn, see: #11930 (comment)

@2.4.5would not work, but@2.4.6did the job.
The fixnpm install mini-css-extract-plugin@2.4.6was the one that worked for me.I ended up pinning
mini-css-extract-pluginto2.4.7which seemed to be the last version before2.5.0:"resolutions": { "mini-css-extract-plugin": "2.4.7" }I have tried all of these solutions and nothing seems to work for me. Does anyone else have ideas on how to fix the problem? I have deleted and refreshed everything but it still is not working. Tried the resolution / overrides / and adding it to my dependencies.
Hopefully they have a fix for this soon because I cant build any of my projects.

Then, use
npm ciinstead ofnpm install.
