I was following http://ray.readthedocs.io/en/latest/install-on-macosx.html to install ray for the first time. Everything worked until the line

python setup.py install

which prompted a cython-not-imported error. An extra pip install cython let me get past this.

Thanks for the fix! Could you make the same change in doc/source/install-on-ubuntu.rst?

I wonder if I broke this in #878, though I suspect the problem already existed before that.
