Fine tuning + Can now have knots as velocity in output

Fine tuning + some visuals ( remember to update your fin controllers ):

  • Option to disable limits for Wind with ConVar: finos_wind_disableAllServerLimits
  • Added notification to tell that all wind limits can be disabled (legacy)
  • Added the possibility to display the speed in: knots, with WireMod [1 knot = 1.85200 km/h]
  • Adjusted WireMod velocity outputs to include 1 decimal
  • Adjusted text and order for speed for the WireMod fin controller
  • Fixed a bug where the FinOS_data from WireMod fin controller would get sent to global panels even after it was nil/removed
  • Changed the text for AOA to "Angle of Attack" instead of "Air Attack Angle"
  • Updated some other text for the fin controller --> Update needed for older fin controllers!!

Small adjustments to overview panel

Moved some overview panels, so it should work for any screen size:

  • Adjusted the Wind overview panel to it's own panel
  • Adjusted the Tracking overview panel

The start of something great. Feels much smoother to use - Would call this version the first complete version with minimal to none bugs. A few changes and allot of fine tuning:

  • Fixed a small bug with checking validity for new wind values, and if they are within the servers limit
  • Added to Settings Panel the last entity applied wind to, for quick settings adjustments
  • Changed from red to blue grid ( makes more sense )
  • Added the possibility to output some wind/thermal properties with WireMod: Wind Enabled and Wind Force Per. Square Meter of Area
  • Fixed bug with the WireMod system, where the string output did not display on e.g. text screen
  • Added the possibility to input the wind/thermal with WireMod ( will override settings from Settings Panel ): Wind Force
  • Added Wind force to tracked fin panel and wind properties to the default properties panel
  • Added so you can adjust the color of the grid to any color
  • Added the "FCVAR_ARCHIVE" flag to all server ConVars
  • Changed the scalar amount with scroll wheel to 0.1 instead of 0.5

New Functionalities! ( Big Change )

Allot of new functions. You will now have to set a forward direction before applying the area points. This is for drag and wind (optional) functionallity.

  • General bug fixing
  • Fixed bug with forces being applied for lift
  • Added so you now have to place the forward direction of the fin ( used for drag and wind )
  • Added UI grid to prop ( so it is easier to place forward direction arrow )
  • Added UI for forward direction
  • Added drag force to fin
  • Added option to adjust grid size manually
  • Added UI to adjust grid size within Settings Panel for FIN OS ( "E" + Middle Mouse )
  • Fixed issue with fin not being accurate enough for angle checking ( added more decimals )
  • Added option to view Forward Direction arrow, or not in Settings Panel
  • Made a UI redesign of the Settings Panel
  • Made a few UI adjustment of the Instructions Panel
  • Added so Player can disable the "Correct Start Angle Helpers"
  • Added so that the Player who created/spawned a prop, is the only one who can edit the fin
  • Added wind and thermal wind/lift -> Can be adjusted in Settings Panel ( off by default )

Just a new settings panel and the possibility to remove the hover ring ball for visual purposes.

This version is very finely tuned with the Wiremod and Physics. The physics has been fine tuned allot more to respond more realistically. This will affect old duplications, but you can scale up the force if you want - these changes will most certainly stay in the stable release as well.

  • New Physics - how the fin responds
  • Stable release of the Wiremod system (now fully working and tested)
  • Some new flap logic
  • Some UI improvements
  • New static data (this will make old duplications obsolete - you will have to apply a new fin to them!)

Some small changes + new tool sound when firing.

  • Fixed duplication issue, where when Player removed old fin, it didn't clear the old Fin OS duplication settings
  • Fixed checking if a fin/flap that is going to be removed, is actually a fin or flap
  • Added new sound for tool when adding points

Allot of changes. Some new visual stuff and allot of bug fixes.
The fin will now work as it was intended - you might have to lower your scalar on previous duplications.

  • Fixed Fin OS limit logic ( use 'finos_maxfin_os_ent' )
  • Added custom effects on attack, and added them for multiplayer
  • Improved and fixed critical bugs with removing Fin OS from a prop
  • Fixed sound for multiplayer
  • Now prevents empty clip sound when firing tool
  • Fixed security validity check when writing table data
  • Fixed critical bug, where fin acted as a flap all the time because of wrong initialization ( you might have to lower your scalar on duplications! )
