[IMX708-wide] not supported in camera sensor properties

I have a RPI 5 with Ubuntu 24.10 OS and camera module 3 wide version. and below is what I get:

Unfortunately I don't think rpicam-apps will run as-is on an Ubuntu installation. The main reason is the dmaheap device node indirection on Raspberry Pi OS unavailable on Ubuntu.

You could try the following patch:

but unfortunately there's not much more we can help with this.

well I managed to solve this by adding the video and render group to the ubuntu user....
if I don't add this, only root user can run rpicam-hello..
