Files generated via keypair generate command on windows are CRLF in windows and for some reason cannot be used

Trying to load a DOS/CRLF public key or private key results in a BER decode error

This is bewildering. I've heard of line ending issues, but this takes the cake. I think something in cryptopp expects the files to be LF formatted. I'm getting around the error by just setting newlines to false on the key writer encoders. Commit to follow
