Edge lags badly after opening windhawk

Windhawk's CPU, RAM, disk and network usage is shown to be very low. However, it can cause lagging, and the computer returns to normal after exiting windhawk, and still lags after opening windhawk again. Lagging badly when loading web pages. Tried to clear the memory, still didn't work.
Enabled mod: Vertical Taskbar for Windows 11. Setting is as following.

Does the computer lag only when Windhawk is open, or when it runs in the background too? Does it also happen when all mods are disabled? Do you recognize any other processes in task manager with a high resource usage?

Windhawk lags the computer in the background or when it is open. This happens when all mods are disabled. Microsoft Edge Beta takes 693MB memory, Antimalware Service Executable takes 232MB. The computer lags only when Windhawk is on, once exit, everything works fine.
I noticed that when Windhawk is running, the mouse shows up as being busy, both in the foreground and background.

I tried to kill the process, but got "Access Denied".
Yes, there are some crash reports. But it seems that they are all related to edge, instead of Windhawk. So I tried with Chrome. Chrome worked fine with Windhawk on and off.

Can you post a crash dump of Edge? It might be related.
You should be able to get it with the following steps:

• Open regedit
• Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting
• Create a key named LocalDumps
• Create a DWORD value named DumpType with value 2
• Trigger the crash
• Go to the %LocalAppData%\CrashDumps folder, you should see a dump file in there

I see. I'm aware of this issue, it happens with a new functionality of Edge, and a fix is planned. For now, please exclude msedge.exe. Use the steps that are shown in this video:
