First of all, thank you for sharing. My question is: Is it possible to extract information such as the tank's hull speed, direction, turret orientation, and camera position from a World of Tanks replay file?

It is definitely possible to get/derive that information from a .wotreplay file. However, if you are asking if this particular project is able to do that, it gets a bit trickier because it depends on the information you are looking for and what patch the replay file is from.

You can check out replay_parser/tests/parser_tests/test_output folder to see what kind of data is currently fully parsed by this project. Unfortunately, I haven't worked on this project for a while so its likely that some of that data won't be parseable for the more recent patches.

I tried to see if the Position event works in the current patch and it does. It includes the position of a tank in battle and the direction of the hull:

EDIT: If you are specifically looking for "tank's hull speed, direction, turret orientation, and camera position", I think only the direction of the tank is easily available with this project currently. IIRC, Turret orientation is in 0x07 packet but this project don't parse it yet (maybe I can find some time to do this). The others I don't know yet.

Yes, as you said. I tried parsing the playback and obtained 6 data types in the output. Although some other data have not been parsed yet, thank you very much for sharing
