IPL Data Analysis (2008-2017)

Introduction

This repository contains an analysis of Indian Premier League (IPL) data. The goal is to explore various aspects of the IPL tournament, including:

1. Tournament Statistics: Number of Balls in the Tournament, Number of Wickets in the Tournament, Balls per Wickets, Number of Sixes in the Tournament, Balls per Sixes, Total Runs in the Tournament, Runs per Wicket, Extras given in different overs of the match, Distribution of score by batsmen in the tournament etc.
2. Player performance: Total Runs by each Batsman, Total Dots by each Batsman, Balls Faced by each Batsman, The ratio of total balls to total dots for each batsman, Sixes by each Batsman, Fours by each Batsman, Total Boundaries (4s and 6s) by each Batsman, Runs by boundaries for each Batsman, Percentage of boundary runs to total runs for each batsman, Top 20 Batsmen with the highest percentage of boundary to total runs, Batsman responsible for the most wins, Batsmenw with Highest Strike Rates and Runs, Best Death Over Bowler, Top Scores by Batsmen in IPL, Number of Fifties by each Batsman, Most Fifties by Batsmen etc.
3. Other interesting insights: Explore any other interesting questions or patterns that emerge from the data.
