Describe the Feature Request
Currently, selecting a category is mandatory when adding a new Expense.
I often want to quickly log an expense without assigning a category.
This feature would allow users to save an expense even if no category is selected for example, by treating "No category" as a valid option or by making the field optional.
Describe the Use Case
Sometimes I want to quickly log an expense without worrying about categorization for example, when I’m in a hurry, or when the expense doesn’t clearly fit any existing category.
Currently, I’m forced to pick a category, even if I don’t care about it at that moment. This slows down the process and makes the app feel rigid.
Allowing expenses without a category would improve flexibility, especially for users who review or categorize transactions later.
