Welcome to the rain project! This application creates a soothing terminal-based ASCII rain animation. It brings a touch of weather to your console, inviting you into a calming experience.

To download rain, visit the Releases page. On this page, you will find the latest version available for download.
- Go to the Releases page.
- Locate the latest version listed at the top.
- Click on the version tag to expand the download options.
- Select the appropriate file for your operating system:
- For Windows, download the file ending in
.exe. - For macOS, download the file with
.dmg. - For Linux, look for the file ending in
.tar.gz.
- For Windows, download the file ending in
- Save the file to your computer.
After downloading, follow these steps to run the application:

Windows:
- Navigate to the folder where you saved the
.exe. - Double-click on the file to run it.
- Navigate to the folder where you saved the

macOS:
- Open the downloaded
.dmgfile. - Drag the rain application to your Applications folder.
- Open your Applications folder, find rain, and double-click to start.

Linux:
- Open your terminal.
- Navigate to the directory where the
.tar.gzfile is located. - Extract the file using the command:
tar -xvzf rain.tar.gz
- Change to the extracted directory:
cd rain - Run the application with:
./rain
Once the application is running, you will see beautiful ASCII rain falling in your terminal. There's no need for further input; just sit back and enjoy the visual display. You can stop the animation at any time by pressing Ctrl + C.
If you encounter any issues, consider the following steps:
- Black Screen: Ensure your terminal supports ANSI colors. Switch to a terminal that does, such as Terminal on macOS or Windows Terminal.
- Installation Issues: Make sure you have downloaded the correct file for your operating system.
- No Animation: Check that you run the program correctly in the terminal, as described in the "How to Run" section.
Currently, the application does not offer customization options. However, future updates may include this feature based on user feedback.
No, rain is designed to be lightweight. It should not adversely affect system performance.
At this time, rain is only available for desktop operating systems.
