In our case it looks like this:

go: downloading github.com/mailru/easyjson v0.7.7

fatal: detected dubious ownership in repository at '/__w/container-security-operator/container-security-operator'
To add an exception for this directory, call:

	git config --global --add safe.directory /__w/container-security-operator/container-security-operator
error obtaining VCS status: exit status 128
	Use -buildvcs=false to disable VCS stamping.
make: *** [Makefile:9: build] Error 1
