DescriptionCurrently using templates from Github, assume 1 template per repo. For example However, if a person is creating many template and wants to keep them in the same repo, the quarto use command above does not work for a specific directory/template under the root. Am I doing something wrong or is the ability to pull a template from a sub directory in a repo not a current feature? I think being able to keep and use many templates in a single repo would be very helpful, rather than requiring individual repos for each. |

Do you have a concrete example which is not the documentation in your case? Could you also clarify what you are calling a template here? Because it does not seem to be the Quarto definition of it which is "the Side note: hosting several extensions in one repository might have some advantage but it has the major drawback of making them less discoverable on the web and on GitHub. It also means tools such as the following listing of extensions and Quarto Wizard VSCode/Positron extension will be unable to use those extensions. |

An update on this - I accidently had a .quartoignore file in the root directory, which caused the issue above. Once removed everything worked as expected.
