`quarkus create app --stream=999-SNAPSHOT -P io.quarkus.bom newapp` fails silently

Describe the bug

quarkus --verbose create app --stream=999-SNAPSHOT -P io.quarkus.bom newapp results in nothing printed or created.

Expected behavior

it should do something as the stream and P options are supposed to be mutually exclusive or at least one of them should win.
