Turn into next-level-shit advanced stuff (prepare for broader-audience consumption) --

• "harden": should be very tolerant of config file contents, and give detailed info on errors (what went wrong)
• unified and detailed logging of all internal workings
• should provide ways of easy debugging of what it does (e.g. optional very-verbose log output, etc.)
• provide convenience functions
  • messages/logging (msg, warn, err, dbg, progr)
  • a shorthand equivalent of try/except(+error msg) block (goal: possibly no try/except blocks in config files)
• shorthands for re, json modules (perhaps just already imported?)
• ...

• next: add config file "error tolerance" of some sort (should try its best even with damaged config files)
