Update Compatibility table in README?

Maybe you need or want to update the Compatibility table in the README to include v8.x?

Also I looked at the releases page, but I didn't saw anything related to any breaking changes between v7 to v8. Is there anything I need to watch out for when upgrading this major release of `importlib_metadata`?
