Since linking to external packages can be taken as an "endorsement" (which it is not), I tried to make the link statement as clear as possible. This is for users where zlib is a bottleneck, and the API is mostly compatible, not 100% so it requires some effort. However for users who fit the requirements, this package is going to be a huge benefit. For more discussion, see the issue.
