With gh-28778
python -X frozen_modulesonly applies to stdlib modules, rather than also affecting custom frozen modules (see Tools/freeze). So we're changing the name to avoid any confusion.This -X option was added recently and hasn't gone out in any releases, so renaming it shouldn't be a problem.
