FYI, I plan to do finish the release tomorrow somewhen before noon (CEST), i.e. around 22h or so from now.

I know what they say about releases on a Friday, but hey, we've been taking great care to avoid having backwards-incompatible changes, it's not a component usually used in production deployments, and people should pin their dependencies anyways 😉


pytest 7.0.0 has just been released to PyPI.

This is a bug-fix release, being a drop-in replacement. To upgrade::
