Native Prime could keep executing after Stop because lifecycle cancellation only removes prompts before delivery. After a server restart, it could also display “finished without sending a final response” beside a valid answer because recovered run messages were merged out of order.

Stop now requests one abort for the proved owned session when the exact lifecycle is still delivered. The command cannot be replayed across reconnection, lost ownership or lifecycle proof fails closed, and the authoritative terminal lifecycle still controls settlement. Recovered run messages retain their original order so older tool calls do not displace the final answer.

Validation: 463 focused adapter/runtime/event tests pass, including before/after regressions for both defects and negative cancellation/terminal-response cases. Server typecheck and scoped lint/format checks pass. The same final acceptance checkpoint reviewed all six files and passed. A real delivered-tool Stop returned to the composer in 0.417 seconds with no alert; the original failure took 48.634 seconds and continued executing. Recovery and final client acceptance evidence are being completed on this change.

Model: GPT-6; harness: Codex.
