Not sure what's going on with the libffi issue in py312 or the symbol issues with 3.1.0 and master. Evidently simply modifying SHLIB_VERSION is somehow insufficient in 3.1+ |

Fixed py312 (caching issue), but can't replicate the FIPS or master issue on a local 22.04... |
