[WIP] Reorg and adding SC13 content

This is a work in progress but is essentially a reorganization and update of the repo for the SC13 conference.

The idea here is to have the following structure:

top dir
|-- markdown # All content for slides
|-- figures # All figures
|-- examples # Example scripts for stand-alone testing
|-- exercises # Exercises and solutions for class to work through
|-- notebooks # All notebooks for showing slides interactively
|-- html # Slides via html and reveal.js
|-- pdf # Rendered slide in pdf

Notebooks, html, and pdf are "renderings" of the content, the rest is actual content. Hopefully this makes the SC tutorial judges happy.
