Set owner of database

It would be great if there's a way to create a DB and directly set the owner. Currently it seems the user assigned to the DB isn't the owner.

Have you looked at the 'postgresql::db' defined resource?

It allows you to create a db and user all in one:

postgresql::db { 'mydb':
  user => 'my_user',
  password => 'my_password',
  grant => 'all',
}

I think that type just does "GRANT ALL" though, rather than actually setting the user as the owner. I've been meaning to fix that ;)

I've just submitted a pull request (#156) that adds a parameter to set the owner in postgresql::database.

There is a bit of ambiguity as to what user should now be in postgresql::db. It would probably make sense if that user was passed as the owner in postgresql::database. If so, the "grant" code in postgresql::db should probably be removed.

This is extremely old, please confirm the issue still exists in puppetlabs-postgresql 3.x. If it is still a problem re-open the ticket.
