Writing IAM Roles, security groups, access policies, etc. are some of the more tedious aspects of setting up AWS infra. Our AWSX components abstract these away internally, but often times these wrappers don't do exactly what the user wants. Thoughtfully adding connectors could make it much easier for users to work with the base AWS components.

We already have some connectors like this written as typescript only overlays, but they are poorly documented and not available in any other languages. Converting these to MLCs, and extending them based on some of the examples from AWS SAM and CDK looks to be a modest amount of work that could reap good usability rewards.
